Our Story
From a kitchen experiment to Flux
Flux started in 2023 as a small passion project, creating natural alternatives to everyday products.
After sharing our early blends with friends and family, we decided to turn the idea into something more.
Today, we still make everything ourselves in small batches from our home lab in York.
Why Flux?

The name Flux reflects everyday life: always moving, changing and rarely slowing down.
We believe self-care can be found in the smallest moments, whether that’s oiling your hair, applying face oil before bed, or simply using something that makes your routine feel a little more special.
Our approach
Simple formulations. Purposeful ingredients.
We keep our formulations considered and purposeful, with some products containing as few as five ingredients.
Rather than adding unnecessary extras, we focus on high-quality oils, butters and actives that genuinely contribute to how the product feels and performs.

Small batch, made by us
Every Flux product is made by us in York, Yorkshire.
We blend, pour, fill, label and pack everything ourselves in small batches, giving us control over every stage and allowing us to keep improving what we make.
